Carb Day
For any Canadian fans here, Sportsnet will be showing Carb Day practice on Fri AM, then switch over to Sportsnet One for the Lights race and the pit stop competition. Really impressive to see the commitment Rogers has made to Indycar this year.

Surprise Surprise Ganassi is very fast in race trim after being slower in qualifying trim. We've never seen that before...

Indy Lights has an Indianapolis package where while it is harder to pass if you do get side by side you stall out and are stuck and the guys running single file behind you come up incredibly fast. Usually the race finishes under yellow and that finish was incredible, and we won't see anything like that on Sunday at Indy, Monaco or Charlotte with Indycars having more of a handford-esque package.

Side by Side 3 wide into 3 was great and I'm surprised they made it through, Dempsey was in the catbird's seat and took advantage of the leaders battling, taking the win.

That was amazing, did not see that coming. Munoz must be gutted. Good race practice for the 500 though. There must have been a huge hole punched in the air for Dempsey.

Well, the Indy 500 just got promoted on one of ESPN's biggest sports shows...


...the bad news is it was trashed on PTI with the two blowhard commentators being asked "how much of the 500 will you watch", and the answer was "none of it."

Great job ESPN on promoting the 500!

Good news is the Indy Lights finish FINALLY made Sportscenter!

What a great pic. If you had told me one of the most memorable moments watching racing would have come from the 2013 Indy Lights grid I never would have believed you.
