Hello, folks! Welcome to the round 5 Indianapolis of the 2013 Bet 'Em IndyContest. These two weeks will be fast, so don't blink an eye!

Of course, we have two sets of bets, for qualifying and the race. The respective deadlines are just before Pole Day (Saturday 18 at 8:00 Eastern / 12:00 UTC) and Carb Day (Friday 24 at 11:00 Eastern / 15:00 UTC).

For qualifying, you must pick four different drivers and a manufacturer.

o- 10 to 1: Pagenaud, Rahal, ServiÃ*, Wilson.
o- 15 to 1: Bell, Carpenter, Kimball, Power.
o- 25 to 1: De Silvestro, Hildebrand, Newgarden, Tagliani, Viso.
o- 40 to 1: Allmendinger, Bourdais, Vautier, Lazier, Rice.
o- 80 to 1: Daly, Mann, Saavedra, Rest of the grid (Jakes, Beatriz, Jourdain, Muñoz, etc).

o- Chevy: 3 to 1.
o- Honda: 5 to 1.

o- First Row ($ 200): Carpenter (15 to 1), Muñoz / Rest of the grid (80 to 1), Andretti (6 to 1).
o- Fast Nine ($ 60): Carpenter (15 to 1), Muñoz / Rest of the grid (80 to 1), Andretti (6 to 1), Viso (25 to 1), Allmendinger (40 to 1), Power (15 to 1), Hunter-Reay (4 to 1), Castroneves (4 to 1), Hinchcliffe (6 to 1).
o- 24th ($ 20): De Silvestro (25 to 1)
o- 33rd ($ 10): Legge / Rest of the grid (80 to 1).
o- Manufacturer on pole ($ 200): Chevrolet (3 to 1).

Nobody picked Carpenter for any bet. Marcostraz, WAT and Canada ALMS Fan got $ 1,200 for picking Andretti for the First Row. Marcostraz and Canada ALMS fan got $ 900 for picking Power for the Fast Nine, Mythoughtsareracing earned $2,400 for picking Allmendinger, and WAT cashed $ 4,800 for picking Muñoz via the Rest of the grid option.

Nobody picked De Silvestro for 24th. NaBUru38 and Mythoughtsareracing earned $ 800 for picking Legge for 33rd via the Rest of the grid option. Everybody got $ 600 for choosing Chevrolet for the pole.

WAT got the pole position for Indy by a significant margin. Mythoughtsareracing will start in the middle, whereas Canada ALMS fan and Marcostraz will share the outside line after tieing. I'll start comfortable in the inside of row two.

Nobody chose Kanaan for the win or podium. Nobody chose Muñoz or Hunter-Reay for the podium either. Marcostraz got $ 2,000 fo pricking Kanaan for the podium, whereas Canada ALMS fan cashed $ 4,000 for choosing Muñoz.

Nobody picked any 5-10th or 11-15th finisher correctly. I was a quite harsh with the betting criteria, but I didn't want to spend the whole weekend calculating the winners.

Nobody chose Carpenter as the driver with most laps in lead. Everybody but Marcostraz got $ 900 for picking Chevrolet for the win.

Here's the results of the round 5 Indianapolis race:

1st - Canada ALMS fan: 0 + 0 + 4,000 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 900 = 4,900
2nd - Marcostraz: 0 + 0 + 2,000 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 2,000

Canada ALMS fan won convincingly by choosing Muñoz as a top 5 finisher. Marcostraz took second place, and the rest of us tied for 3rd.

Because of WAT's absence, Mythoughtsareracing increase the margin in the lead. Marcostraz and Beetle are battling not too far in 2nd and 3rd place. With today's victory, Canada ALMS fan jumped to 4th place.
