Well Jules the lap times are very impressive, as a matter of interest what width wheels and tyres do you run?

Jules your set up with the 13's works very well. Thats is the problem with wets, when you don't have them it rains and when you buy a set it never seems to rain.

For me it was lucky it rained as i dont think my slicks would have lasted two races as my front left tyre delaminated in practice I had a spare but the other front was getting low

If you are thinking about 13 inch wheels it may be worth getting in touch with Peter Crewes as I think he tried 13s and went back to 10s he may have some wheels etc

Will probably be SEMSEC thats all i can really afford and that will be only some, not all races either as for the mini not going to be next year that will be built for racing in 2010 so a long term project

and Rob going to build own engine as always assume if i can get 110bhp out 1380 with MG metro sized valves and my own head stand a good change of building my own 130 bhp 1380 (cant really afford any thing else)

The only really other big thing to sort will be some dampers and a 45.

i am looking forward to the big race for all minis but you may need to look at other forums and mini mags to see how busy this year is as it is the 50th. you may lose a lot of turnover if booking with conflicting mini events.

ps big dave you do really have the wrong idea of who i mat be i am a great mini fan rather tha a truck person?
