We have literally had 8 dry weeks and 8 dry weekends in a row. Annoying. My house is dry at least

I don't usually follow this event, just not my cup of tea. But I WAS wondering, is the usual start time for this event Sunday, with the race running through till Monday? Most 24 hour races start on Saturday and end Sunday as far as I was aware. And I seemed to recall in years past the N24 started on Saturday as well. Just curious!

A German national holiday on Monday is the reason this year. Not usually run like that, nor is the 5pm start. But it allows a lot of the entrants not to take that extra day off work.

Doesn't really help with the international appeal of the event, but I'm not sure how bothered they are about that.

Makes sense. Did a double take when I started seeing the Red Flag comments in my various feeds...started wondering what day it was...no, no, I do have to go to work tomorrow.

What a shame. stuck in the nissancamp with abeer and hear dj-sound. better than flooded away like my nissantent. hopefully the cars from nissan let the water outside. don't think they restart before 8am.

What's the forecast like for the morning? Is rain supposed to go all through Monday? Or will it clear up in the morning?

This 'race' has been simply depressing. Shame as the first 6 hours were great, nothing they could do with flooding, good move to red flag imo before a serious incident.

Such a real shame this red flag period, coupled with a Sunday afternoon start - leaves very little options available. Still raining (and is due to be raining in Adenau until Thursday...) still red-flagged, disaster!

I can accsess it easily. Probably overloaded because everyone in Europe is now watching.

Does anybody know if they start with the time they had as an advantage against the car behind them? I mean, only that would be fair, but it's nearly impossible to do...
