Glad to see them there, 2010/2011 best Porsche private driver Gianluca Roda is also from GT Open. but I'm quite surprise they're going to be a single-car-team, they could race their GT3 R in GTS(GT3) class.

Just wonder if Haribo is going independent, last year Haribo insist on racing Spa'24 while the regular Manthey team test only. And no news from Falken Europe at present, after Manthey leaves they can get more factory drivers at Ring'24 and maybe a 2nd Porsche entry? In 2011 they have Henzler and Raggi for the Porsche entry and find drivers themselves for the Nissan 370Z entry.

Manthey have said they'll continue their customer operations in VLN. That would include the Haribo car if Haribo wants to stay around.

A lot of VLN teams run homebuilts and evolve these cars over the years. In the case of Timbuli, the non-R is the Busch brothers old GT3-Cup that has been given a GT3-R style bodykit last year.

Schubert has released its lineup for the 24hr this year

Claudia Hurtgen, Dirk Adorf, Uwe Alzen, Dirk Müller, Jörg Müller, Nick Bastian and Dominik Schwager. So seven drivers between two cars? Unless there is one to be added to make four for each car or one is a reserve.

Still unsure as to whether EA (or Need For Speed) as they're known still sponsor the team. With Schubert the official works team for BMW for the 24hr they might have gained Crown Plaza as a main sponsor seeing as though they're seen on other BMWs with factory support.

That's a classical BMW tactic for the 24h race, they usually have one driver as jumper who's entered on both cars, they did that on several occasions with the M3.

Yeah they have done that in the past. I didnt think of that.

Hope they do well, I was thrilled when they came third outright two years ago, if they won I'd be over the moon.
