marcostraz should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
"Mears rule"

My pick for sunday is Dario because, looking at the numbers, he is inside the "Mears rule": Mears won his 4 500 Miles at regular scalar intervals of time (respectively 4, 3 and 2 years later his previous win), Dario is making the same (respectively 3 and 2 years later...will he win after 1 year?). Maybe it does not count anything, but Indianapolis is a race in which certain numbers count...

Hunter-Reay would be my pick. I'd like to see Power or Bourdais win. 'Dinger in that Penske would be an interesting win too. Whether those latter three have it within them or/and their teams to survive the distance, probably not. I wouldn't discount Dario by any means. Hopefully his missus will be at some protest or something elsewhere in the country though.

As previously said I shall bet some bucks on Takuma Sato, he showed good form at Long Beach and he has Tex on the pit. I hope he wins his first and AJ's sixth Indy 500, but most important is to see good racing,
last year last lap was incredible !

Marcus666 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Im hoping for Bourdais too, but that is more of sympathy and maybe not fully realistic. Otherwise, i go for Sato... ...or marco, LOL.

Predictions? I have a feeling this race will be won by Scott Dixon.

5, 4 and 3. Franchitti should've won Indy 4 months ago.

marcostraz got the maths wrong with Mears's wins. The relative wait between 500 wins means that Franchitti should've won this year's 500 4 months ago.
