Barry Pomfret should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Where is my RF 90?

The post about the missing Ray 86 got me thinking and made me all nostalgic! Does anybody know of the whereabouts of my old RF90? It was originally an ex Graff racing car in 90, I bought it from Van Diemen at the end of the season and raced it until 96 when I transferred over to the "dark side" (bought a Zetec!),it is easily recognised due to the little accidents over the years. The roll hoop has a small height extension, there is a small tig welded patch on the chassis rail on the right hand side by the drivers hip, the adapter plate was welded with two strengthening bridges at the top near where it bolts to the engine block, it was fitted with RF91 bodywork and was red in colour with suspension that was powder coated black.Photographs of the car can be seen in the gallery section of www.barrypomfret.co.uk
I would be delighted to know where it is these days and whether it is still racing.

Hi Barry

I bought your car 1997 from a James Castle had 3 fantastic years lovely car got some great pics . Nearly won the Castle Combe carnival 2000 Adrian Cottrell driving, he led 13 laps then rose joint failure on the rear cost him the race.
Sold it to Geof Fern who i am afraid had many smashes he has just sold it on .
