Invite to enter Mallory Park Open races - 20th July

There is only one confirmed car race meeting this year at Mallory Park and that is on Sunday 20th July(there may be the Plum Pudding meeting on Boxing Day, too).

The CSCC is running the meeting on behalf of the new Mallory Park operators, however the CSCC are running a number of Open races, rather than it's own series and you are invited to enter.

Two of the featured events are double header open races, run to a slightly differently to normal with the first 15 minute race being a scratch race with class awards whilst the second 15 minute race will be a sealed handicap race, for just £275. This means that all drivers, even in the small capacities, have a realistic chance of an overall win. Being an open race means that we will accept entries from members of any of the invited clubs listed in the supplementary regulations.

There are separate open races for Seven Type cars (Caterham, Westfield, Lotus etc.) and separate races for sports and saloon cars.

The Monoposto Racing Club will have races for single seaters and the CSCC will run 2 x rounds of its own Special Saloons and Modsports series.

The entry form and more information can be found at www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk

We do expect this event to be popular so if you do wish to race please return you entry form straight away. The supplementary regulations state that if you enter and cannot take part you will receive a full refund if you let the CSCC know before the 2nd July.

Please support Mallory Park and please support this event. Please help show that Mallory is viable as a car race circuit for the long term.

Spectators are, of course, also very welcome.
