Strange question but do you think the clothing stalls will be there because I'd like to get my son a jacket if possible.
The back of the pits are open to all, the pit lane itself is restricted and is no under 16's anyway. In theory the garages are restricted and are no under 16's, I suspect though that most competitors and teams will have no problem with you looking around their garage as long as your lad is under control. I'm not sure which cars are in the garages?

Johnw's Meldrew cars will be in the outer Paddock, this area is open to all but do be aware of what's going on as there will be race cars moving around and a driver's visibility is often compromised by a race helmet, roll cage etc (and old age in the case of most of the Meldrew competitors!). You can happily wander around the paddock and most competitors will be happy to show you their cars. Do track down John, his Meldrew competitors are always friendly, if a little forgetful!

How old is your lad?

The FVees are in the garages.

I believe that MSVR match the clerk's age to those of the series they care for

That's far too astute Gordon. A loss of Meldrew points methinks :-)

I've been a season ticket holder at Brands for more years than I care to remember as well as attending F1, Le Mans and other events both at home and abroad and I always look forward to this event. The sheer irreverence and absurdity of it always amuses and entertains. Come to that I can remember watching Broadspeed Anglias first time round along with Fraser Imps and some contemptuous Minis in the 60's - oh dear just gave my age away!

We must have stood in the same mud.
Watching the Frazer (and Bevan) Imps led me to build a 1 litre road Imp. 7" Weller Wheels, Restall bucket seat, spaced front hub carriers. It handled like a roller skate and I thought it was the DB's.

Come down and have a Horlicks and Werthers with us.

Will do John. I have to arrange my bus timetable first using my old farts bus pass, might take a bit of sorting as I live on the South coast!

Naturally Gordon, no point in watering life down.

A lift towards home perhaps? I'll be driving to Chichester on Sunday evening.

Thanks for the offer but despite my venerable years I am still driving(and working) so I have transport, actually a VW Tranporter. Will be working in Rochester Monday - saving for next year's season pass!

I object to being accused of nicking all the Philosan, but I must admit the Viagra does tend to keep me upright.
