Citroen Saxo

Is the "Saxmax" series still running ?
Why I ask is that I have at the workshop a complete 1lt Saxo with engine problems that aren't cost effective and will go for scrap value.
It's undamaged/no rot and has no sunroof so would make a good start for a racer/rally or could be put back on the road with an engine if someone could be bothered to do it. PM me if it's any use as it seems a shame to send it to the crusher !

I think that SaxMax is dead for 2013; too few juniors with well healed dads around when there's competition from Ginetta Junior.

Saxos are very popular in Stockhatch, though, and also eligible for CSCC Tin Tops, amongst others.

Well if any of the stockhatch or tintop boys want it and have room to keep it for a donor car (just in case ! ) then anyone can have it for the scrap value.
As I said it's undamaged, it would make a good first time youngsters car for the road being 1 Lt, it just wants a head gasket (TU piece of cake) and a throttle body to get it going.
