Ian, if you banned everyone from the forum it would probably be as neat and regimented as you seem to want it to be (since becoming a mod)..

Good idea John. But the point of this thread is to promote a specific event, and that is rather getting lost what with the above...

Lets split it into regional threads! Anybody can look @ them but unless your registered in that championship you can't comment!! (less work 4 MODS) Remember if you look @ NW you must have a sense of humour !!

(14 quick people get one race, 14 slow people get one race, 14 in the middle get two races!) ALL FOR £140.

I am arranging with Mallory Park an opportunity to test on 4th August (Weds am) with an exclusive 30 minutes additional session during the lunch break for FF1600.

Many thanks to

For the collective prize fund of £2000. Please support the race if you can.

If I were to do the test on the Wedneday is there anywhere at the Circuit I could leave my car and trailer till the race?

Matt - further clarification.

Two sessions of 21 cars.

Top 14 overall go straight into final.

Remaining 28 into heat.

Top 14 from heat join back of the grid for the final.

So: one heat; one final; max grid at Mallory is 28.

I hope you will be there Matt!

I imagine that's already been explored - I think Mallory tends to have things arranged most days well in advance!

That sounds quite good Ian. I think this is the one thats worth making the effort for.

I read Daly's nots and sort of got it, your made it clear.

I'll speak to the chaps and see if I can drag them along...other wise it maybe a chassis tech job for running the car.

Ian, I beg to differ.

is not the top 14 overall. If one qualifier is wet and one dry, 8th-14th fastest overall would not go straight to the final. Hence it is the first 7 in each session form first 14 in the final,

best to keep it simple for me, but I did get the point of the first 7 so its fine.

Certainly this looks like the one to make the effort for, I may try to temp Hugh Robertson and maybe Robin parsons out to come and play also.

I need to do a Mallory race....need to see if Justins as fast as he boasts.

I'll try to get an entry in ASAP.

Try keeping me away now. It would be nice to renew acquaintances with 'Huff' Robertson as well.
