Silliest track on the calender...

Looks like chance of rain for Friday with the weekend looking ok.

If anyone hasnt seen the press conference with valentino, here is a man plainly hurt and embarassed by his lack of ability to sort that bike.

A man who is literally saying Stoner could get it to work and i couldnt. Simple as that.

It never worked from the moment he got on it he said, so I guess you cant really blame the lad.

He also wants to stay beyond another 2 years, but you could see in his eyes that he doesnt know at all right now if he is quick enough anymore!

Next year may well be a bigger challenge than trying to fix that Ducati. Going up against a very on form Lorenzo, in Lorenzo's team, and on Lorenzo's bike. Huge risk.

if you're thinking about beating lorenzo yes .. it's a big challange
even a race win would be more than the ducati days brought though

I'm sorry but if I was Stoner, Spies or Hayden I would be suing Bridgestone

Every crash was pretty much in the same place, all left side of tyre, all same corner.

If you cant bloody design tyres that work then leave this championship please, you have pretty much ruined it anyway!

And, why the hell do we go to this stupid place! What a dump

Rossi had a big wobble on that same corner... Dunno why they need to go to Indy, should just have another Spanish round
Interesting that de Puniet qualified in front of Rossi, only 1.6 secs of pole. Stoner, Lorenzo etc could go quicker than Randy, so the CRT ain't that bad a bike - get rid of the factory teams now!

jhansen, apart of commercial reasons, would Elkhart Lake be suitable for a MotoGP race safety-wise, in its current configuration? Few circuits in the world I like more than it...

Another interesting one for bikes would be Mid-Ohio. It's a pity we have to go to Indy (infield), it is comparatively dull.

Lol, in another point of globe, can anyone think about a FIM GP in Monaco? Too dangerous (and expensive), but awesome.

Elkart Lake would require many changes, plus it's kind of nowhere. Mid Ohio would also need many changes. The only circuits that could host it are Laguna, Indy, Miller, and Barber. The last two are also nowhere, and Barber is more of kart track than a GP circuit.

Would love to see Watkins Glen resurrected.

the infield at Indianapolis seemed challenging enough for both Grand Am and Moto GP races I worked to produce interesting enough races... maybe not for everyone, but it was fun to watch
