I met Barry a few times and each time he was very open and honest (considering one of the times was a very short discussion on his words about Aus drivers) and a great person to speak to.
He was a brilliant racer and a very good commentator. You could always tell when he wasn't interested in the racing as the quality dropped off but when he was interested he was excellent. He will be missed
