BTCC Predictions Competition 2008 : Brands Hatch 1

Hello all,

Welcome to the BTCC Predictions Competition for 2008.

Please throw in your predictions for the season opening event at Brands Hatch . This seasons prize is a years subscription for Ten-Tenths! (Which means for one thing, no banners etc. to irritate, plus some other advantages too)...you can sign up now and not wait, and then get next year free if you want!

For this season the points will be awarded as follows:

Predicting correct pole: 4 pts
Predicting correct winner: 5 pts
Predicting correct 2nd: 3 pts
Predicting correct 3rd: 3 pts
Predicting driver but not in correct position: 1 pts
Predicting correctly the random prediction: 4 pts


* Retirement is that. The driver must start the race and withdraw after the event. In the event of a multicar incident, we'll go with whoever MST lists as the last placed driver.

Yeah. So not whoever can't make it to the grid cos they forgot their engine - basically I'm after the one that's probably going to shunt into the barrier at the start as usual, though they may surprise us!

if they do what turner did last year at rockingham and break down on the grid, im guessing this counts as a retirement

As long as it's when the red lights go off as it's a DNF, as technically the car was there at the start. If it doesn't even make the parade lap, then it's a DNS usually - will let timing decide.
