I've got my friend's wedding in London on the Saturday and my nephew's 1st birthday on the Sunday. It's tricky but I should be able to manage it.

I think I'll nominate Donington as my new 'home' track!! I mean, by the time the BTCC has come and gone, I'll have been to a total of prbably ten race meetings; this will be my fourth at Donington!!
Now, all I need to do to feel sort of at home is if we stop at Melbourne. Not that I like Victorians (or Germans in Victoria, Brett!!) but it is in Oz... I've digressed: I'll be there, as long as Mr Antill will pick me up!! |

as if you needed to ask...
I have to keep up the 100% attendance record at this season's BTCC events, so I indeed will be blending into the background at Donington as I do successfully at every BTCC race meeting.
At least Donington finishes at a respectable hour of the day, and isn't in some ridiculously wayward part of the country like some circuits I could mention. Oh god, I've just remembered the gravelling incident from my last visit to Donington, I don't think I'll be able to sleep until the weekend... The nightmares are just too harrowing! I'm not going anywere near Mr. Antill's Peugeot ever again ;-) Pete. (schoey) |

I've got a plan to make sure that I can come to Donington. Just hope my twin sis doesn't get too upset that I am going to miss my nephew's 1st birthday.
I've just got to sort out a lift now CRAAAAAIG? DAAAAAAAVE? Wanna see my new flat? |

I'll be at Donington, at least it's not half way across the country like a certain track in Norfolk. See you there folks
Woody, you shouldn't have mentioned photographic evidence from Snetts, I've got my photos back, just need to find time to scan them now. The disappointing thing is that the photo of Craig with his chair on his head didn't turn out! |

Snetterton half way across the country?? No, that's every other circuit! I suppose it depends where you're standing... Snett being on my doorstep 'n all. Sorry I couldn't make Donington, but I promise I'll be at Silverstone! Hopefully with a shiny (?) new Ten-Tenths hat! |

I'm going, I'm going!! Sorry I'm excited but it's a hell of a way for us and it took a long time for me to pursuade everyone that it wouldn't be too long...
Schoey, having a 100% attendance for this year is pretty impressive considering some weekends have been pretty boring, but did you do it in '98? Now that would have been good, great year |

madness is just a state of mind...
Nope didn't do it in 98 sadly, nor 99! This is the first season I've actually had the motivation to get out of the house for a change - 100% attendance can either be viewed as completely sad (which is true) or mad (which is also true). Those who know me will confirm that both are true! :-)
Still, it's been an 'interesting' season, even if it hasn't been a top-notch excitefest like it has been in years gone by. I've enjoyed it, but then I always did have a strange idea of fun. Roll on Donington... Pete. (schoey) |

I seem to have more recollections of socialising with the ten tenths gang than the actual racing this year. I wonder if that has anything to do with the constant banter that goes on...... oh, and the shouts of MULLER!!!!!
Anyhow, Ganda, can I pass a mobile phone number onto you to phone us on the day or have you got a number you can pass onto me? It would be nice to meet up with you after all this time. I can be reached by email by one of the many icons that will appear with this message. |

ganda, it's not that bad - I can do it in 2 hours dead so you should be just a little longer. Do you still have my mobile number ? If so, give us a bell when you get there.

Now we have the timetable . . . shall we arrange a time for everyone to meet up . . . perhaps at the Redgate Pub, on the first corner? (Is that OK with you Invader/Craig?)
Anyone any ideas on a time? After the Sprint Race maybe? And is there any chance for a few more shouts of MATTY ? |

No Carrie, because Luke Hines has left the series. Wahey! The bad news ? He's moved up to pukka FFord...
Meeting up ? I'd suggest that we all parked around at Starkey's seeing as we always seem to end up round there. Failing that, how about we meet in Redgate Lodge during the Sprint ? Can't be missing any of the decent racing, can we ? |

Parking at Starkeys sounds fine to me - anyone got a tow rope If we all park round there we could watch the Fiestas and Clios, then head round to the Paddock for a while before heading back to Starkeys for the Sprint and the rest of the day. Who's going to be at Donington this time then? Ganda, I suppose you've already met the worst, after that the rest of us will seem completely sane
