Who's Coming to Combe then?

I know the BDC is having its annual thrash at Silverstone and a great meeting that is too, but I was told today that my car is up and running so I'm looking forward to Castle Combe 02 August with Masters.

Apparently stars of the 70's is first race this year so an early start.

I suspect the usual suspects will be present so who's going?

What didn't we find?

Oil up the distributor, causing spark loss. Bits of fuel pump in the fuel lines, and other stuff. But with the assistance of Demon Tweeks and Ken we have a car that should get us through the day. Looking forward to it.

well this year has been a bit of a write off for me so Masters have been off my list - in fact to be honest everything has up to now and hey ho after this weekend its only Goodwood and Spa!!
Next year I will have the dubuious honour of being under your steely eye - and more importantly trying to keep up with Boy Racer Bower in the SC ;o)

After a busy but very enjoyable weekend with our Roadsports race at S'stone Classic, I am equally looking forward to being back at the "home" circuit for HSCC 70's Roadsports this sunday. May possibly look in and see the others on saturday, if all final preparation goes to plan.

The Hutchisons will be there - John Snr is racing in the Crossle in the Classic Racing Cars - so we will be occupying the same tarmac as the Flat-hats had on Saturday.

Planning on arriving (not allowed in until 7pm) on Sat night and camping - hope the diner is open - expecting all other 10-tenthers to come and say hallo!

Sadly the Lancia had an engine problem at Brands, so John Jnr can't take it to the BDC at Silverstone on Saturday as planned. Shame

Yes, the dark blue one (there is another sky blue one out with our series, as well as the front running green one). We met up at last years Walter Hayes Trophy, when I was with the Europa, with my pal Peter and his MG (who I recall also bought your old MGB shell). Will try and get chance to say hello on sunday.

("Delivering a race suit" would work......any takers? Mega discount to get me out of the house........)

Yes, the Tavern will be open on Friday and Saturday nights.

You are welcome to arrive before 7pm, just not in the paddock to give the Masters guys time to pack-up.

With 400+ entries this should be a good weekend. Full timetable and entry list here; http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/...List020808.pdf
