Video of the LoveFab NSX on the dyno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbvKu_v4ZwE

From their Facebook: "And the dyno runs. Pump gas, 7psi on a stock block 6 liter with studs, gaskets, cam and springs. We honestly aren't looking for much more than this; we may turn it up a little more during practice week, but we will start here. 548WHP/575WTQ as a baseline. We did a cam, Springs, pushrods, studs and LS9 headgaskets, as well as pulling the pistons and gapping the rings larger. We're told this setup is good for over 1000whp, but we won't be pushing it. Turbos are twin Turbo By Garrett GTX3576R with their new Vband turbine housings. Full spool by 3000rpm. As for HP towards race day, it depends on how the car performs in testing. You can always turn the boost down We won't be spending much time tuning down here in flat-land, the real tuning work begins at 7500ft on Sunday."

Doug Siddens just arrived from Austin with his wicked, carbon fiber laden, Turbo By Garrett,400+HP Polaris Razor. At only 1200lbs, the power to weight ratio is borderline insane and hand molded carbon fiber panels make it look like more of a Formula 1 car than a Polaris. We got a chance to talk to Doug, and he's MORE than ready to battle the Peak this year. This guy is gonna be fast...

To give you an idea, Seb Loeb's Peugeot is around 1,900 lbs.....

To be honest, they might aswell not bother if they are not going to do any testing, especially with a completely new car and engine combo!

Which car/team are you talking about? From my knowledge every car in the unlimited class has been doing testing. JPD has doing a good amount of testing, and it's basically an even further improvement over the Dacia he's raced the last two years.

Dumas tested the car in France, but that´s old news already. A very short test program indeed.
