1987 Dallara F3
A friend of mine has just bought a 1987 F3 Dallara. Does anyone know how we can find out the history of chassis number 14? I'm going to email Dallara who should have a record of which team they sold it to, but I'm trying to find out who drove it in 87/88.

We can probably rule out it having run in Britain as the only chassis to run in Brit F3 was Raphael Rael Del Sarte's in 1987. Was a luminous yellow IIRC.
I don't think Dallaras were that prominent in numbers outside of Italy at that time with a few chassis in France and Germany. Bernd Schneider won the '87 German series in a Schubel entered one and Jean Alesi won the '87 French with one as well. Dallara didn't get their stranglehold in Britain until 1993. |
