Hello all 1o-tenths members.

Need a bit of help, and not sure which thread it would go in to,

National Hotrod Final, Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich. 7 July 2010

Where is the best place to get event info from. Eg race details, timetables, race entry lists.

All I know so far is the date and location, use to follow the sport, on and off many years ago, just fancied going to the event of the year. Lol

Any help would be so greatful.

I assume you mean 2012 not 2010!!
Entrys will not be known for sure untill nearer the time as the qualifying rounds are still taking place.
The top four go into group one of the grid ie positions 1 to 4 and so on, however the overseas entrys like northern and southern Ireland can go into these groups if they put in a fast time.
Lap times take place on the Saturday for the big one on Sunday.
It is always the first race on the Sunday and Is either 11am or 12pm, not too sure which.
Always best to get there early and have a wonder round the National Hot Rod paddock, some great looking cars.
Nationalhotrod.com is your best bet for infomation and also if you have facebook look up National Hot Rods and like the page.

Is a good source for news, but sadly the magazine is no longer on sale at tracks, as they always used to do a good preview

Another good meeting is the Thunder 500, don't worry it's usually a 25 lap final, so no idea where the 500 comes from.

But it's seen as the pre world final warm up for national hot rods and for the past few years the BRISCA F1's have been on duty too at that meeting.

This years it's the 23rd June, 6.45pm start

Yep I will be at the thunder 500.
I think it was the 500 because the winner used to get 500 cans of Budwiser?
