I'm guessing the Ronals came with the car when it was purchased from Longhurst. I suspect some of the paraphernalia that came with the Wolf Sierras wasn't required at B&H Racing - such as the Ronal wheels - and was bundled in with '88 Bathurst-winner.

Well, neither of Moffat's Eggenberger Sierras are RHD, both are lefties. But apart from that, I can't find any faults from first glance.
Also, do they know where this car's first race was? Was it at the Donington round of the '88 ETCC (Rd. 2)? |

I was just thinking about that too, was also wondering which one that did the handful of BTCC races in Soper and Brancatelli's hands at all?

A fellow in UK by the name of Martin Johnson would be able to tell you the history of this chassis. He had a Texaco car for sale a few years ago and had traced all the chassis'. I have his contacts if you need. He is a very knowledgable guy on european sierras as he has had quite a collection. Labbatts, Rouse ANZ, Texaco and Listerene. Just a quick note. At least one of the ANZ Eggenbergers is black inside so one could summise it was at one stage Texaco liveried as opposed to being ordered from the get go as ANZ-white? Someone could sort this out? Cheers Ben. |
