Why do you want to kill off Brazil - surely opening LMS to a new racing crazy market is a good thing - especially when there are a number of Brazilian companies that invest heavily on Motorsports sponsorship.

From what it says on DSC team's planning to do PLM and then head to Brazil will find all their travel costs covered from Atlanta to Sao Paolo, they will also have there costs covered to get back to Europe.

From canam's posts, I might be inclined to believe that he has a great deal of experience in these matters, and a pretty good working knowledge in racing that has led to his conclusions...

I would like to see a race in Brazil, and would hope that some in Europe would come to PLM, followed by the Mil Milhas...

Only time will tell.

Yes but even with vast knowledge and/or first hand experience it does not mean that there is no bias.

Maybe because canam might be someone who would have to bear the extra costs to do this???

IMO, that isn't bias...it is business...

Does that mean the transport leaves before Laguna Seca?

Shame if so, this has become a great end-of-season meet recently with a few ex-PLM Europeans staying on for it...

bi·as [ b əss ]

noun (plural bi·as·es or bi·as·ses)Definition: 1. preference: an unfair preference for or dislike of something

bias (n)

Synonyms: prejudice, partiality, preference, unfairness, favoritism, predisposition, preconception

Antonym: impartiality

Maybe having to bear the cost creates a preference.

Ah, but the context in which it was used suggested that you meant prejudice.

Welcome to 10-10ths periclesleite!

What reaction has there been to this in Brazil? We've heard a few rumblings of discontent from locals who will be unable to compete in their race!

Looking forward to this event, looks very interesting.

The package on offer seems far better than anyone expected so I don't really see how you could moan, then again teams always find something to moan about!

Over the last few years a number of teams have made two or three trips a year to the US, without any compensation for travel costs.

Mil Milhas de Interlagos

I´m very happy with Le Mans Series 6th round here in Brazil.
Certainly "1000 Milhas de Interlagos" in 51st anniversary will be a great race because "1000 Milhas de Interlagos" is a most tradicional endurance race here in Brazil since 1953!

Thanks a lot ACO!!!
