So the mysterious red #046 was delivered to Grace Gartlan then?
That kind of suggests it was destined for Frank Sytners use as his cars were prep'd by those guys at the time.
Maybe a 2 car team was planned but perhaps then the opportunity came up to buy the CC cars instead?

sitting in my shop is RA2-46
yes this is group A right hand drive, under the current white paint it is red, behind the door panels it is red, this car is the x Charlie Obrien car, the current owner has had the car for 20-25 years and in the early days he had it looked after by Charlies old mechanic, who picked it u from the wharf when Charlie bought the car to Australia
The chassis plate is still on the car, im guessing because the car has been in storage for so long, and hasn't been used a lot since the current owner purchased it is why there is so much confusion and even someone else claiming they have the car

bmw 635i fire demaged total car not avaible and only paperwork passport left
