BTCC 2004 Champion

I'm feeling poll crazy. It's early days yet - but starting to shape up after round six. I think we all know who's looking likely to win it (nothing secret - they're the joing championship leaders) - but if somebody's going to break through, or just had an unlucky first two weekends in your opinion...i.e. Team Dynamics are yet to shine, MG are yet to gain backing - or Seat will jump up despite gaining some weight - or Morrison will turn up at Arena and kill the lot of them...speak your piece.

Neil Adams should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
i voted for muller, i think hes wise enough to keep building up the podiums whilst the others battle amongst themselves.

i think neal will win the independents, just.

It will be a straight fight between JT and Muller. The SEAT has no chance and they aren't even aiming for the title this year and the Civic still cannot cope with ballast as well as the Astra.

I reckon it will be Thompson, Muller, Neal at the end of the year though!

I have a feeling about Anthony Reid this year. He's driving as well as he ever has and will quietly rack up the podiums, make use of the reverse grid races when he can and take advantage when Vauxhall trip over themselves. I'd love to see him finally win the title, too.

It may well come down to retirements. One crash (like Plato) or a car failure could wreck your weekend. If that happens to one of the VXs it will be hard to catch back up again!

It has to be one of the VX's, or Reid. Matt Neal, I feel is having one of his typical years again!

I think the VX team will ultiametly be too strong again. If Honda and MG had maintained their backing for their top teams, it might've been a different story, but I feel that the Honda's poor showing when heavy, and the MG's comaprative inconsistancy, will continue to hold them back.

Chilton is nowhere enar good enough yet, Neal lacks the backing, and even if Morrison does get on the grid now, he's lost too many points already.

Rumours were abound there's be a second Honda with him in - and since I'd put Chilton in, I may aswell put Morrison - since he'd probably have more points after a few rounds.

Not heard anything recently though. Looks like one Arena effort for the year then.
