acb9 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Classic FF @ Snetterton 7/8 April

Was planning to come along to this meeting as its a Double header and seems to include a pre 90 race as well, bit worried that no ones talking about an action packed weekend, is anyone going?

well the racers are probably busy getting the cars ready, but you certainly should go, it promises to be a very entertaining time, the whole event is geared up around classic cars generally, with single seaters taking up the centre stage. CFF1600 has a double header and the pre 90s also have a race, remembering the FF2000's are there as well the paddock will be buzzing, which is why even without my car i'm sure to be there. Indeed if you fancy seeing that car of yours out on the circuit, i'd be pleased to pilot it for the weekend !

After that tractor you were driving last year, i don't think you could handle in increase in power !
In all seriousness, well done on winning the novice cup, thats a good call for your first year, commitment no question, now get some seat time and a decent engine, then you can have some fun with the others. i've sent a pm by the way.

Look forward to seeing something from the other guys that are going to snett on here, if just to confirm that an in promptu bar b q might be in order if the weather stays fine (assuming spectators are still welcome) ?

PRS RH01 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Keyline classic formula ford pre 82 and pre 90

Just to let you all know we now have a new sponsor in Keyline.com . They are offering money towards your 2013 budgets just ask me at the circuit .

As for Snett the Pre 82 is looking good and and the Pre 90 could do with a few more but the grid will still be good as if you enter the Pre 82 you can have the extra race for £120 thats 15 minutes extra qual and a 20 minute race .
I have a couple of plans for the season and the more you enter the more chance you will have to win , watch this space .

Im at Oulton this weekend supporting there Pre 90 championship with one of our new drivers having and extra race this is what formula ford is all about . The little man in his glass office still hasnt got it but it will be his loss .

North west have 32 Pre 90 cars out and 18 post so they are going from strength to strength fantastic work Matt see you Saturday.

Listen here Portly Clackett, you missed me out - intentionally I would expect.
Rest assured I will get you back. Even if I have to search you out. You will probably be found in the Med Centre being treated for the effects of being in a crowded place.

Your Brands and Thruxton races look good as well roll on Monza.

wont be the same without the defending class b car see you later in the season.
Hope Cadwell goes well with the F3 next week .

Kirkistown is always worth a visit. I used to go over with the the Formula E crowd in the 80's and had some of my happiest days racing. Great people, great circuit and a weekend of complete fun and madness. My liver is still recovering

Thanks

Hi

Just like to say thanks for the welcome by the classic formula ford lads and they even allowed me at the very last minute to join their race, even though my Jamun is an 84 car.

Thanks to everyone for being so friendly, proper club atmosphere!

If you are thinking of joining to do classic or pre 90 dont hessitate its great fun.

Thanks for the compliment the committee work hard behind the scenes , it was good to have you there and great to see the BARC working with smaller clubs and allowing you to have the extra race.
Oh and that was a bloody good drive on a damp track with no clutch see you at Brands.

Was there a pre '82 race as well? I noticed they were all pre '82 cars in the race listed as pre '90. Were they all lumped together in the one race? or were the only cars racing, pre '82 cars.

Everybody who did the pre '82 championship race also qualified for the pre '90 series race, although they didn't all race.

Pre 90

In the week leading up to the race we lost a number of pre 90 car. as our own pre 82 championship was already there a number of drivers said they would give the only pre 90 car a race and also invited him to join in our race. The BARC could not have been more helpful in allowing this . We try to run a friendly club , hopefully this will go a long way to show people how seriously we are trying to build this series next round at Brands so if you have a pre 90 or for that matter pre 82 come and join us .
