Justin Wilson - Ever done Banger Racing??!!
Just something that has bothered me; about 1996 I watched banger racing in Cornwall, and I swear there was a multiple champion who won on that day called Justin Wilson! Can anyone confirm this for me? I saw him at Silverstone, but forgot to ask him!
It would make sense as maybe that was one of the first things he raced, and the years would sorta add up. Anyone help??! |

I hadn't seen any of today's F1 news and thought this might have been something to do with Wilson's performance today. Thankfully it wasn't...!

I remember him in junior karting from the tender age of 9 years old, and recall when he ran wide off the track and rejoined like a cannon straight into my driver breaking our wheel rim, putting us out the race on the first lap! Bit like he did today!
Banger racing would be very apt! |
