OVERSTEER should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I know that i'm definetly going to the Rockingham 500, and i'm planning to go to the opening round of the BTCC at Brands, the Snetterton night race (BTCC), and the BTCC season closing round at Brands, and possibly the Powertour round at Castle Combe. What is everyone else planning on doing?

Hopefully (F&M permitting) as many BTCC and Powertour meetings as possible, Chris Y's Mini race at Donington for starters and no doubt many more, must try to do more CSCC meetings this year, ALMS, Goodwood Festival of Speed and lots of F1 testing. Lets see how many of those I actually achieve!!
One thing I do know I'm definitely doing is the Cart at Rockingham because my tickets already booked for that.
Did you get any sort of confirmation of your order? I didn't on mine, just know the cheques gone out and presume its gone to the right place.

Good to see you've changed your mind on stopping at home all year, Carrie! You only live once and all that... get out and enjoy yourself

Well, the F&M permitting bit also includes whether I'm working / being paid - don't know at the moment, thought we'd find out today so I could decide if I'm heading to Silverstone this weekend, but still in the dark

Well, where to start?

Well, I suppose at the beginning - this Satuday, Silverstone clubbie to get things going.

And then Donington next week, for Chris' first race of the season.

Other essential dates for the year would be:
Le Mans 24 hours, mid-June
(The glorious return of the Bentley - and the craziest race weekend in the world)
Goodwood Circuit Revival, September
(Extraordinary trip into nostalgia with the fastest racing and the greatest celebrities)
Bentley Drivers Club raceday Silverstone September
(not just Bentleys. Probably the only race meeting of the year where you can potentially see vintage cars competing with Cobras, Formula 1 Footworks, Formula Fords and MGBs - in the same race!
Rockingham Coys Festival, May Bank Holiday
(Historic racing - but on the banking. Should be good)
Brooklands Reunion, early July
(Flat-out blind up the hillclimb, and a demonstration around what's left of the banked track. Celebrating 80 years of Bentley racing. Can't imagine missing it)
American Le Mans, Donington Easter Saturday
(The loudest noise going. Just fabulous)

And also as many Mighty Minis, CSCC (Classic Saloon Car Club), VSCC (Vintage Sports Car Club), HSCC (Historic Sports Car Club) and AMOC (Aston Martin Owners Club) meetings as I possibly can.

I daresay I might be persuaded to a BTCC nightrace and a Powertour or two if they don't clash with anything!

My record is 24 meetings in a single season. I'm determined to beat it one year.

Tim, I'm shocked that your essential list doesn't include the Goodwood Festival!

I've always had this thing about it being "only" a hillclimb up till now, Carrie. But I think this year I'm persuaded!

See ya there!

Touring Cars are top of my list.

And Craig... don't forget to remind me to go and see the British Superbikes this year

Apart from that, I'll be playing it by ear. Will see what's on in the month and what's in the bank account.

Fairplay!

Not that we would do that many - perhaps we will get to meet you at a few?
