Lavit

My latest creation. Not sure what to say about it really. A bit faster and more flowing maybe than previous designs, and quite long too, about 6.5km with 16 corners worth noting.

I've made the racing line (and possible passing lines) quite prominant because at the end of the day this will give you the best indication of the nature of some of the curves especially in relation to the width of the track rather than just the geometry.

and why couldn't something like this be one of the new F1 tracks, it has a fairly long corner into a hairpin.. quite fast and flowing with a few overtaking corners. Pretty good, very neat design with all the parking and paddock areas etc

Superb artwork.

Very minor quibble and it's my pet quibble, the pitlane exit on the racing line.

Other than that Brilliant.

Even if the graphics weren't that fantastic, it would still be a great track

Fast and flowing curves, well placed hairpins and tight corners - I love this one.

And I also like tha graphics - maybe I would like to see a version without the blue lines, but it is good.

I also liked that you made alternative parts for motorcycle races - I like to design tracks that are equally good for cars and bikes - and it seldom works for me. Good to see it does for you.

Brilliant circuit P.

I'm in awe of that. I love the bottom section, technical yet speedy and fairly unique in style. Great effort.

I agree with my forespeakers: Pirenzo, you've managed to come up with something very special here. It's very Hugenholtz-y, but without being "a ginger".
Maybe the pitlane exit problem could be solved by curving the end of the straight slightly to the left, like in Mugello?

that job is stunning, it may be THE BEST job I've seen in this forum, it has everything, great track and great graphics, very pro, and the track itself is very real, very good run offs , this person sure knows what he's doing.

That is one fine circuit. Long, very long, but fast and flowing. I like it a lot. I think it would be ideal for Moto GP and Superbikes. Good for F1 and LMS/GT too.

The presentation is great.

Okay - I'm burning to ask and I hope you don't mind - what graphics package did you use Pirenzo? It's a simply stunning job!

Here I go again, advertising for free

So: I don't know what software pirenzo used here, but you can create something exactly like this with Ocad. If you want, I can show you.

I'm getting deep into tutorial-writing (doing one for Blender at the moment, for resir). If I finish it, i might do one for Ocad if I have the time.

I'm not entirely sure if this track was done using it, but Pirenzo, for quite a period of time, used the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) to flesh out his track designs.
