I took a run around the track the other day, axle-breakingly bumpy on parts of mountain straight...everywhere else OK....hopefully they will have it sorted soon

Looks like I'll be making 2 trips within a couple of months to Bathurst

There were 58 entry deposits paid within a week for the 55 grid spots. Fair to say competitor interest is high, now if we can just get the organisers to give us longer races it would be so like a time warp that would surely drag a few people to the mountain to watch.

Reload, you will have a ball -it's real motor SPORT with everybody helping out to ensure all get as much track time as possible.
This year was fabulous and saw some fantastic racing and the outright lap record getting slashed in the blink of an eye.

All we need now are some more officials and volunteers to help out. If anybody is interested please contact Yahoo Events or use their webpage. James O'Brien really looks after you with breakfast each morning, after racing snacks, Sunday evening function and great gear such as polo shirts etc. The windproof poly vests and the thick hoodie this year were great and see a lot of use at various race meetings.

Yes, it is a very exciting opportunity, and our competitors have responded accordingly - the grid is currently oversubscribed.

Seeing that we now have to turn people away, and the licence requirement of the circuit is a higher level than the level held by some of our competitor group, therefore precluding some from participating, the decision was made to not apply championship points to the round.

My mate saw the ad on their site asking for volunteers. He contacted them asking a question on the same day that the ad was posted and was told that he would be number 8 on the reserves list ???
