BRSCC Donington cancellations
Due to ongoing problems at Donington the following meetings have been cancelled...
6/7 August.. 15/16 October.. And as previously mentioned the Britcar meeting on the 4/5 November has been cancelled.. The club is hoping that they can find an alternative venue for the October meeting... Keep checking on www.brsccmids.co.uk for information Regards Roy S |

That's not good news for Donington, I was about to volunteer for the 6th and 7th

Well as Donington have already explained, in order to get the circuit up and running again they initially over subscribed on the number of meetings and in order to ensure that the local councill don't jump on them for exceeding the number of days permitted by their licence they have had to cancel several meetings. This also means that they have more time to do infrastructure work that should improve the circuit. Don't ask me what infrastructure work as all I know is what the circuit have released to the local papers and Autosport.

Getting my Rockingham fix this year alright, 5 BRSCC days, 4 BARC and 2 rally days (hopefully) before the end of the year!

I hope the infrastructure work mentioned includes the infield. Fortunately I seem to have volunteered for all of the unaffected meetings!

To add to the list - it is confirmed that the 750MC meeting 8/9 October will now be moved to Cadwell Park on the same dates.
I will try and contact all who have volunteered for Donington but feel free to volunteer for the Cadwell replacement through me, Dave Owen at Cadwell or www.marshals.org.uk when the forms get changed. |
