Terry Scannell should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
SnettertonTraining Day Sun 23rd Jan

Well that was a really encouraging way to start this special season at Snetterton, with so many marshals attending today. Good to see lots of new trainee's as well as many more experienced marshals taking the time and trouble to travel some distances to be with us today.

Thank you all for making the day such a positive one. Certainly you could sense the anticipation of everyone wanting to be out there on the new circuit. Will not be long now!

Brilliant job by the organising team behind the scenes putting the timetable and events together, also good to see the support provided by all the clubs /officials all working so well together, as always. Thanks to John S and Mike H for your support thoughout day - really appreciated and great to see you there. Many thanks to the CSCC for the contribution towards the lunch for all the attendees which I am sure was also greatly appreciated.

Finally a big thank you to Jamie and the whole MSV Snetterton team for providing the facilities and all their assistance during what is such a busy period at the circuit whilst all the redevelopment work is still in progress.

Look forward to welcoming you all back for the actual race meetings very soon.

Terry

Have to second that,
Thanks to all the trainers, including yourself Terry, for a great, well organised , training day. Nice to get to talk to the scrutineers, I will think so much better of them now.
Thanks to Gary and the girls and CSCC for an excellent lunch.
Thanks for all the updates on the circuit. It looks really good. I guess there are certainly going to be some teething problems, but I'm sure it will be worth it.
Shame we couldn't have a closer look, but fully understand why.
Greatt to see the usual suspects, now I'm going back into hibernation until mid March.

Richard Sneader should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Well where do I start,
Thank you to all who turned up yesterday for the marshals TD at Snett. Whithout you guys being there I am the lead trainer of nothing. This was a difficult challange as I wanted to try and do something different this year and you all made it work.
I only look after the training, behind me there is a large team of support trainers and helpers who all made it work and a huge debt of thanks to them as well for their hard work and humour. We started to plan this day last August/ September time so alot of planning goes into it and alot of people put the hours in before and during the event.
And to our guests who tunred up as always it was nice to see you all and the marshals really appreceiate you taking time to say thank you. Thank you to CSCC for the contribution to the large fund and of course to Bernie C who tunred up with a little gift from the drivers to the centre towards facilities or training for the marshals.
Thanks again everyone and any suggestions, feedback ideas please come and talk to me throughout the season.
So lets see plenty of flag waving on the slow down lap of the 360 meeting( thats started it off now!!)

You are very welcome and nice to see you all again. If anyone would like the digital file of any of the pictures just mail me and I will send it to you. As they are not numbered on the site just let me know the row and frame (1to 5) number. That should do it. See you all soon.

Glad to see our late race Midget is serving it's new purpose, hope it gives you many years of use in the simulations and more to the point I hope we never have to be rescued from a similar incident again.

Thanks to all who go training, it's comforting to know that when we do something stupid on the track there's a good team dressed in Orange ready to come to our aid.

regards

Andrew
