Any news leaking about the new 2015 Caddy CTS-V rumor is that it will be built to FIAGT3 spec and hopefully homologated so we can see them in Europe

The Viper should be fully homologated and legal to run in Europe, if someone were to buy one. That was my understanding when I talked with them about buying one for PWC this year.

Not much has gotten out about it except the plan is to have it there for 2015, maybe we'll see it by the end of this season.. When I interviewed Johnny O a couple of weeks ago, he wasn't talking

That talk did go very quiet very fast, would be nice if they divulge a few details. Almost certainly won't be available this year if we don't know anything about it yet though.

With only 3 weekends (Mid Ohio included) left on the calendar, you could be right. I think the CTS or ATS, whatever they use, will be really cool, but I think a better move would to produce the Corvette GT3.

The more the merrier! Doesn't matter if its Caddy vs Vette. You see R8 vs Gallardo vs Bentley (all VW). Viper vs. 458 (FIAT).

Looking at the entry list for Mid-Ohio, I see that Leo Parente ("Drive Network" on Youtube) is entered in a Fiat 500 TCB car. That's cool! It will be interesting to see how he performs.

You're probably right, but I think it would be smarter for GM to build a Corvette GT3 to compete against Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren, Lambo, etc...Corvette compares to those brands, Cadillac doesn't. That being said, I'm still happy to see them put something on the track.

Open wheel feeders mostly, seems to dry up after 95/96 which is consistent with him going the management consultant route at the same time.
