Oversteer.

I was just sending Miss Hardt some pictures for her 'Old Hochenheim' site and came across this shot of Kennert Persson giving it some on the infield at Hockenheim. He drove for Kurt Bergmann's Austrian self built team in 1973 alongside Keke Rosberg, among others.
I hope it gets Dave and Andrew's attention in particular, enough for them to forage in their shoe boxes and give us some more wonderful shots of OVERSTEER ...

Wonderful pic John
The racing line as they NEVER teach it at driver's school. Now where exactly was the apex? Somewhere under the driver's seat by the time this picture was takem.

Cracking shot John. I bet the apex wasn't the only thing under his seat by the end of the race Chris!

http://hocki.supersonicsquirrel.net/ and it's in the throws of build and development. Lots of imagination behind it Roger, run by 10/10ths member Miss Hardt. She runs a site on JV too, and her mate run something on that Italian motorbiker ...

From a 1966 Trans Am race at Virginia International Raceway. Photo by Roger Blanchard, unnamed driver in a Cortina. Teeth-gritting moment! That's what you get for driving on the wrong side!

Good stuff everyone! Somewhere someone will have copy of Siffert was it (or Rindt or Hill) in Walker's Lotus 49 powersliding into Casino Square.
There was one shot that I think perfectly demonstrates the art - we've seen it before but it's pure mastery. It's one of DaveM's brilliant pics so thanks again DM and this is it. Oh, Peterson Crystal Palace of course.
