2009 Aussie Racing Cars

Has anyone confirmed that they are running in this category this year?

We know that there are quite a few cars for sale, and Ive heard that more will be staying in the shed, but will any be running?

I'd rather watch Aussie Racing Cars than FFord and Carrera Cup
Where will Aussie Racing Cars be racing this season, and what of Paul Kemal?

According to ARC website

They claim the next round is Clipsal 500 Adeliade 19-22 March 2009.

Kemal has spent 8 years - had enough, and now spending more time at home and doing fun stuff like track days and maybe some tarmac rallies.

Kyle Clews will be racing, with a change of body shell & livery!
Those rounds advertised are only a draught and we will be at e/c with the superbikes and a small chance of bathurst as well. Should be a great year!

Wouldn't Calder not having a CAMS track licence create a problem?

I see Paul Kemal has pulled the pin on ARC entirely and has his car up for sale... does anyone know who from the 2008 series is back or out?

Looks like Kyle Clews will be the only driver willing to put up his hand. The others could be waiting till the calender is finalised..... but then again it may never be final.... Sandown was 'dropped' suddenly last year.

Well if Kyle seriously is the only one putting his hand up is the series going to be full of wannabe racers without pedigree???

Will there even be a series???

With Carrera Cup and Minis scrapped from the V8 calender, and rumours of the DVS series struggling for numbers, will Aussie Racing Cars be next???
