Hi, folks! Welcome to the round 15 of the Bet 'Em IndyContest. After five years without racing, Indy cars are back to Houston streets.

You must pick six different drivers and a manufacturer.

o- Polesitter on Saturday ($ 300)
o- Polesitter on Sunday ($ 300)
o- Winner on Saturday ($ 1,000)
o- Winner on Sunday ($ 1,000)
o- Winner on Monday ($ 100)
o- Podium ($ 300)
o- Top 10 ($ 50)

The Winner on Monday is the best manufacturer at the weekend. If a manufacturer wins both races, it wins the weekend. If both win a race each, 2nd place results will be considered, and so on.

Podium and Top 10 bets will be calculated for each race.

The stakes for Houston are:

o- 4 to 1: Castroneves, Dixon, Pagenaud.
o- 6 to 1: Hunter-Reay, Franchitti, Power.
o- 12 to 1: Andretti, Hinchcliffe, Wilson.
o- 20 to 1: Kimball, Bourdais, Kanaan, De Silvestro, Newgarden.
o- 30 to 1: Rahal, Jakes, Viso, Conway, Serviá.
o- 40 to 1: Herta driver, Vautier.
o- 80 to 1: Carpenter, Saavedra, Sato.

o- Chevy: 3 to 1.
o- Honda: 3 to 1.

If you place your bets after the start of qualifying, you get half the earnings. Have fun!

So, here's the results of the 2013 Grand Prix of Houston race 1:

o- Polesitter ($ 300): Sato (80 to 1)
o- Winner ($ 1,000): Dixon (4 to 1).
o- Podium ($ 300): Dixon (4 to 1), De Silvestro (20 to 1), Wilson (12 to 1).
o- Top 10 ($ 50): Dixon (4 to 1), De Silvestro (20 to 1), Wilson (12 to 1), Pagenaud (4 to 1), Newgarden (20 to 1), Jakes (30 to 1), Rahal (30 to 1), Bourdais (20 to 1), Viso (30 to 1), Filippi (40 to 1).

Nobody picked Sato for the pole. Mythoughtsareracing earned $ 4,000 for choosing Dixon for the win. Nobody selected any of the three podium finishers. NaBUru38 and Marcostraz picked Bourdais for the top 10 and got $ 1,000 each.

Mythoughtsareracing won the race for the n-th time (n to be calculated later). I resulted runner-up for placing the bets a day before Marcostraz. Meanwhile, both Mekola and Beetle missed all four bets.

I didn't realize it until after it was too late to delete the post. So I edited it and left it with nothing.

If the last incident w/ Sato & Franchitti didn't happen, I was counting a cool $12000 on the weekend.

Qualifying was cancelled, so no money was awarded for polesitter bets.

Mythoughtsareracing chose Power for the win and cashed $ 6,000. NaBUru38 got $ 1,800 for picking Power for the podium, whereas Mekola earned $ 3,600 for choosing Hinchcliffe.

In turn, Beetle picked Hinchcliffe for the top 10 and gained $ 600. Also, NaBUru38 and Marcostraz earned $ 1,000 for picking Bourdais for the top 10.

Honda and Chevrolet won a race each (Dixon and Power). Both scored a second place (De Silvestro and Dixon), as well as a third (Wilson and Hinchcliffe). Pagenaud and Wilson finished fourth for Honda, so the Japanese won on Monday. Therefore, the $ 300 for the pick go to Mekola and Marcostraz.
