Marshals needed for 750MC -Donington 15/16 May

750MC are very short of marshals for this event. I know Diane always gets ES people, but my list for Obs and Flags is looking quite desparate. If you can help (esp Sat) please contact me.
I will take info from all catagories of marshal and pass info to the relavent area. Thanks.

Our last meeting there was a cracker when the wind did die down, so come on lets have some 10/tenths guys and girls come along and have a good couple of days.

I'll ask the Missus, but it's supposed to be a weekend off!
Now Peter, if YOU were to ring my wife and say just how desperate you were and that the meeting could not go ahead without my support, she might just agree!

If I phoned your wife and told her how desparate I am, I might get a smack in the mouth!!!

There is a Britcar presence at out Donington meeting. We're not proud and will run anybodys race if they ask.

Pete, any idea if they are bringing their own pit marshals to cover pitstops and stuff?

Shiela normally the eerc boys have a limited number to over see the pitstops are done to the regs. Each team i believe supply two people in fire resistant clothing to over see the refueling
although pit marshals can add extra cover.
I believe James Tucker does post here and may be able to confirm this.

Regards
Pete

Just to clarify: We have Stock Hatch, Britcar, John Cooper Challenge, MGCC BCV8, and Austin 7 Triple Challenge on Sat (pract and race) and practice only for F3 1 Litre, Formula Sheane and Irish Formula Vee.
Sunday its Formula Sheane (2), Morgans (2), Irish Vees (2), Hot Hatch, F3 1 Litre, Formula 4, Locost,

The weekend has 17 races numbered 1 - 11 and 13 - 18. (Don't ask)

(and this puts this thread up the list until SG makes it hot)

Sounds like we are in for a busy weekend. I wonder if the Britcar pit marshal crew would like to help us out if we help them?

I'll see if I can drum up some more trade - it's going to be really busy and we could do with a lot more experienced people. (or inexperienced people - just a lot more people would be good!)

For anyone over the age of 16 reading this who would like to try their hand at pit marshalling, please give Peter a call or drop me an e-mail or PM and we will be only too pleased to see you. But be warned, pit marshalling is not easy, it's constant hard work and you won't get to see much racing as you'll be too busy doing other things!

Peter,
Don't mind doing both flag & observing at a suitable post (1,6,12,15,21 or 23) if needed.

For anyone in two minds, a cracking programme in store...

Saturday Races:
Stock hatch (x2 heats & final)
BRITCAR (100min)
John Cooper Mini Challenge
MGCC BCV8
A7 Triple Challenge

Sunday Races:
Formula Sheane (x2)
Morgan Challenge (x2)
Irish F.Vee (x2)
Hot Hatch
F3 1litre
Locost
F4

9am start each day, finish approx. 6.30 by the programme (carnage permitting )

See you there
Al

Unfortunately I am having to return them!

Yes well the form you filled in showed you only available on the Sunday and your post only mentioned Sat at Oulton so I sent tickets in case. (Not that the tickets mention any of those dates)
