For those of you that have followed the Newcastle coverage this weekend, it would be hard to argue against the merits of Matt Griffin in the V8 Ute category.

Matt was a last-minute call-up for Peter Ward's seat and went on to win two races against a vastly experienced (and in some cases, desperate) field who were trying to secure their championship position and to send the Utes off in style.

What next for Matt Griffin? Surely, people are looking and watching.....!
