We have looked before at different ways of improving the racing.
How about a success ballast (as per BTCC and other series) to try and contain runaway winners. The designers will moan, Ron Dennis and Ferrari will moan, but the others just might like the idea. What do you think? |

Well its not exactly working for the BTCC is it? Nope, the only thing to do is put them on big slicks and cut the wings off!!!!

F1 would be one category when a snip off the areodynamics would be effective in slowing them down... but then again they would find ways around it and redsign something else to compensate..

Make him race with Jacques. Talk about "success ballast!"
There's an idea. You win the race, the next time out you have a teammate you loathe - who is just as fast as you are. Fastest man on the track gets to race with Irvine. |

How about using the Devil Take The Hindmost format??
The starting order is based on the qualifying times, the slowest person starts off first and the fastest last. But, there is also a calculation applied, the idea being that all the cars arrive at the finish at the same time. eg. if the fastest car is calculated to be likely to lap the slowest car twice, then they would start two laps behind etc etc... I've seen this years ago in motorcycle grasstrack racing and it was good fun |

Maybe teams should prepare their two cars as normal.
But just before qualifying and the race the drivers draw lots to see which car they get to drive. Ok, so they have to be set up to fit the individual drivers, but it would be fun to see TGF driving the Prancing Tortoise car. |

Perhaps they should make it so that everyone arrives at the first turn at the same time...that would be fairly exciting...
