Ted Walker should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lotus 30 with GT Bodies

Does anyone recall a 30 being fitted with a GT body BESIDES the ex Prophet Ashmore car that was advertised in Autosport in 1968.I seem to remember a second car that was written up in either Car & Car Conversions or Hot Car.

Ted, this is a new one on me. Didn't even know there was one, let alone two. No chance of a picture of the Prophet/Ashmore car so that we can see what it looks like?

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but have you seen this, Ted, on Kirk Keyes website dedicated to the Lotus 30, and the Pink Stamps car in particular?:-

I have driven a 30 and been round Knutsdorp and I can honestly say I cannot think of a more ghastly combination of car and circuit, it must have been truly horrid.

Richie Ginther once said a Lotus 40 was "just a Lotus 30 with 10 more mistakes!"
Good think you didn't drive that one Jeremy!
John, that link is an amazing collection of cool old photos. Thanks
Is that pictured race track still in existence/use?
