Therefore, take any pit stop time and subtract this and you get a rough guide to the length of time stationary.
Yes but this also depends on when the stopwatch is started. Is it started as soon as the driver crosses the pit lane line (at which all drivers will be doing the same speed). Or is it started as soon as the driver leaves the track? As there is quite a bit of difference as to how a driver will approach the pit lane line...if you saw Coultard he must have barely made the speed limit as he came roaring at the line and locked up pretty heavily so he will be faster than others if the watch is started as soon as he leaves the track (going down pit road but before the pit lane line). If it is started at the pit lane line your theory stands.

Sorry if this is confusing I can think of any other way to say it...hope somebody can clarify this though.

Don K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

OK, Rubens had the quickest lap by over a second? Wow.

Coulthard's quickest was 1s faster than Kimi.
Makes perfect sense.

Barichello was leading the race when he had to retire.

And Coulthard was comfortably leading the race when he made his final pit stop.

p.s. I said this in another post that I know that Fisi says he was fueled to the finish but I believe this is totally BS by Jordan to gain more sympathy in a possible appeal case.
Actually, members from the Jordan pit crew suggested to a pit lane reporter during lap 52, that Fisichella might not need another pit stop.

If they said that with a possible appeal case in mind, please tell me: How could they know at that time that there would be an incident which would cause the race to be red flagged in such a way that Jordan might have some reason for an appeal?

The timing is for the length of the speed limit controlled zone.

Where it is possible to find all lap time for every driver in Brazilian Grand Prix. Previously they were in TAG Heuer home page, but for last too races they are not available???

Surely Lap times in such variable conditions are totally irrelevant!

Take a look around and you'll see that Rubens retired because he ran out of fuel - his computer was registering 12 litres more than was there.

He was fastest by a second 'cos the car was running on fumes!
