Westysprinter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
aintree sprint (camping)

Ive heard second hand that camping overnight before a sprint at Aintree isnt recomended due to some rather dodgy locals? Does anyone have any first hand experience as I dont fancy an early start and a 3 hour trek on the morning with the camper?

Should be OK especially as they lock the gates at night. There is a small charge for staying overnight which has been introduced in the last 18 months or so.

The British Sprint Championship contenders have in the past stayed there on the Friday night & had no problems.

Coming from Nottingham, I have always 'camped' at Aintree and never had a problem yet, except for maybe the errant golf ball.
