Fisichella. No dispute.

The whole thing about McLaren beign given the win was very suspicious. Was it you 16v who pointed out that the offical timekeepers from Tag Heuer also sponsor McLaren? Questions have to be answered.

Tag Heuer has been sponsoring McLaren since the mid-80s and there were no problems before, so it's just a paranoid conspiracy theory IMO...

It should've been DC, but that's not an option Fisi crossed the line two laps before the end of the race as according to the rules, after 75% of the race was completed so he gets the full win. Simple as that!

What silliness. Everyone in F1 circles believes Fisi deserved the win, including McLaren.

Well, the race stopped when fizzy drove 56 laps, then the computer took the results from 2 laps earlier, and at that moment, Fizzy was in the lead, so he wins. So in that point Fizzy desirves the win.

Well, to be honest I should've won but I didn't get a drive for this year, sad isn't it?

I agree with Daisy. The FIA assessed the situation and found that under the rules Fisi won. So the right man won.

If they had found that Fisi hadn't started lap 56 and given it to Kimi then the right man would have won in that situation.

Justice was done, because they found the right winner, not because they gave it to Fisi in particular. If it went the other way it wouldn't be an injustice. The situation in that race didn't really provide a more deserving winner than anyone else - there was more to come, I'm sure, if the race had run it's course.

Should of had a restart after they cleaned up the mess and let the race go the distance. Shortened race results just don't stack up against full distance ones. No matter what anybody says their strategy was they still would have had to race and finish the complete distance. Todt said they should have won too! Look at where they dnf'd!

Rules is rules is rules is rules.

Fissi won. Period.

The only doubt was due to lack of (or incorrect) information on whether Fissi had completed the lap or not, there was and is no doubt in terms of the clarity of the rules or the validity of the result as revised once the correct information came to light.
