So much promise, but ultimately disappointing. 5. It would have been so good to have seen either Grosjean pick up his first win or for Webber to finish the job, but I guess we all knew that we could write Vettel's name in at the top of the chart before the race even started. Some good overtaking here and there and honourable mentions for the Hulk (again) and his team mate Gutierrez. Prat of the race to Maldonado for his final chicane idiocy for what, 16th place.......?

Certainly promised more than it delivered......not convinced that Red Bull strategy was even-handed, and of course losing Lewis on (effectively) Lap 1 didn't help.

Some battles down the field, but overall, fairly dull. Good job by Grosjean and both Sauber drivers.

Gave it 6.

6.

Predictable as said above. But still I enjoyed it. A shame Lewis got that puncture, both Red Bulls had a bad start (now they are sabotaging Vettel too ) so second in the first corner was possible for him.
But considering how close it was at the start, we are lucky that only one of them had problems.

Apart from the "hold the gap to two seconds" nonsense throughout the first half, it was a decent race on a glorious circuit. 7/10.

I gave it a 6. Perhaps it would have been a bit more exciting had Hamilton not been knocked out - but it did however have some decent moments. For a while, there was the possibility of Grosjean's 1st win - but it wasn't to be. Some decent passes from Kimi and Guitérrez. Plus, Vettel and Webber's hunting down Grosjean. All on a decent circuit - which admittedly is difficult to pass on.

I thought it was a good race, a shame that Lewis suffered a puncture and it would have been better if Webber had gotten past Grosgean quickly. Hope we get to see Webber and Vettel go toe to toe for the win before the season ends, fireworks would be nice.

Rather processional at first, with drivers being told to save their tyres, though not even 10 laps in. It came alive round about lap 20, with a great battle for 4th, that the TV Director focused on and then it went back to DRS overtakes. Shame Hamilton wasn't in the mix. 5 because it's Suzuka.

6. It bubbled along quite nicely, without ever really getting the pulse racing. Kudos to Grosjean for spicing things up.

Just a 5 from me. Great race maybe for those that love to study team strategy. The drivers aren't really racing, the engineers are.

Expectations and possibilities were high, even during the race, though generally unrewarded - 7

Another yawnfest, tactics dictated to allow it to win yet again, and a race just totally dominated by tyres and little else.

Glad it was on in the morning so I could do other stuff while I flipped back and forth to watch the highlights.

7. Not a bad race. Improved substantially by need to stop (or not stop) for tyres.

6, hoped for more but felt a little let down ,Suzuka is one of my favourite tracks and hoped to see a stonking race . Made a change to not see Mr Vettel scream off into the distance on the first lap !

I thought it was a good race, on the same level with Korean GP. Vettel's win wasn't certain until 10-12 laps to the finish. Sadly Webber got screwed by a bad strategy.

7 i liked it.

one of my complaints about the tires was a lack of balance between to compounds where as my preference is that all things being equal a three stop races should get you to the line in the same amount of time as a two stopper with the difference coming from driver inputs...hence the driver has the opportunity to make the difference.

it was nice that we saw it from two drivers in teh same car pretty much out in front the whole time so many of the variables or random events didnt effect them so we saw a real battle between drivers.
