EGM Sunday 4 February
An EGM has been arranged at the Spawell for Sunday, 4th February, at 2.00pm. This is necessary to ratify the decision taken by the drivers present at the meeting at Mondello Park on Sunday January 21st, convened by Declan Grogan, Chaiman of the Race Committee, Motorsport Ireland, to amend the race calendar for 2007 to 11 races with 2 dropped rounds.

So what happened at the meeting?

The cams have finally been sorted. Now if Gerry strips an engine to check for eligibility the cams are sent straight to kent for verification, Gerry has four spares available if the driver wishes. If the cams are found to be okay the cost is paid for by the association, if not the driver pays.
The B and C championship will have 3 dropped rounds instead of 2, meaning its not neccesary to go to Brands. Joe also sais that he intends to step down as chairman at the end of the year unless he gets more help. Wendy said she is also going to step down.
