Terry S should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Aussie Racing Cars

The series for these cars kicked of in 2001. So running for 17 years.

One of its aims was supposedly to act as a transition from karts, and produce future champions.

Does anyone feel it has achieved this objective, because I don’t.

Backagain has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
No, it was never a level playing field, basically because even though the original "Creator" called it equal equipment, apparently, if you were able to bring in a series "sponsor" or partner, you received much more "equal" equipment and went to the front. (apparently)

It has created it's own niche though and exists happily in it's own bubble, like the Utes did for a while too

Quite right, now that ownership or management of the series has passed into stable hands.

They look like a lot of fun to compete in, I've never considered them as a stepping stone to somewhere but just a category with some good fun racing for its competitors and thats seems to be it. Nothing wrong with that.
