How on earth can Minardi be contemplating keeping a driver who is 2.5 secs slower than his teammate, who they look like getting rid of. No wonder Cesare had 'disagreements' on future 'strategy' with others at he team.
But if the practice sessions run to current form the start here will certainly be interesting. It's vital that you get ahead at this circuit. Ouch...

I am absolutely positive the reason behind Fiorio's departure from Minardi is the team's decision to keep Mazzacane and hire another South American instead of Gene. I agree totally Angst - Gene is a class or three above Mazzacane in terms of driving, speed and sheer TALENT.

As for Herbert and Zonta... oh dear.
