Technical director seems to be going to great lengths on insisting that it's not a re-badges RB5.

I was really hoping for a different main colour tbh!

That's going to be a nightmare identifying that from the Red Bull head-on.

I think the STR's colour scheme has long been one of the best liveries in recent years, largely as its not cluttered with huge amounts of logos.

A bit ironic as the team is half owned by a large corporate entity .

considering their compared results last year, it should be RBR that has to release a statement like this this year

is it just me or does that nose/front wing look way too flimsy? thats a huge amount of wing and therefore force being loaded on two narrow points.

very narrow footwell too, not much leg room in that bad boy.

EDIT : READ THE RULES FOR POSTING PICTURES !

Sounds like a classic Adrian Newey design

Webber reckons its a very comfortable car - what a refreshing change from his usual moaning.

And it's got one of those teardrop 'hangy-down' things under the nose.

I'm wondering if it smooths out air travelling under the nose cone before it hits the splitter to divert the air more efficiently to the rad intakes?
Or is it some kind of sensor as suggested elsewhere?

Peter

I recall reading some where that it's a laser 'slip angle' detector... it's in a pod as it has to be fairly close to the ground and with the new high noses that's how they do it now...

I like it.

Definitely easier to identify from the RB.

Cheers
