I would love to see the Shawn and the Golf get a trophy in its final send off! Hope AMD are back next year with something cool!

As he is the only S2000 car to finish the races... It seems almost certain!

It's a shame he winning on by default!

Depends if any actual drivers (as opposed to wealthy cabbies) go up against him.

More questions to be answered this time out:

Can Rod Austin survive Paddock Hill bend for all three races?
Can Dan Welch finally get rid of his bad-luck gremlin?

And perhaps most importantly of all, can we avoid the championship being decided by knock-out...

I have every confidence that the Honda will be the car to have at this venue. I just can't see anyone else getting anywhere close.

could end up in a complete Honda whitewash

1-2-3 in the championship

- teams title
- manufacturers
- Indy champion Jordan
- Indy team title thru Pirtek

only thing missing was an S2000 Civic winning Jack Sears

I thought he had a good reliable run at Silverstone.

I can't even remember watching Brands GP last year (probably because it's a poor track for overtaking and that doesn't excite me), what was the car to have?

Can't remember what the car to have was - but I can remember it was wet, cold and by the last race - dark. Cracking days racing though watching trackside Got to love the GP loop - the commitment through the corners out in the woods is incredible to watch, you can really see who's happy with their car and who is a bit tentative.

He did, even avoiding the first lap pile-up in the first race by a matter of seconds, but was in excruciating pain throughout.

Last year, Brands Hatch GP gave us AJ's Indy title through Rob Collard crashing at Druids, Dave Newsham nearly rolled his Vectra exiting Druids at the same place Foster went over, Andy Neate caused a huge crash at GHB by being a blind idiot, Onslow-Cole took pole, and Árón Smith took his maiden win in R2 after holding off Shedden for a bit, before Dynamics figured Shedden would take the title. In R3, Frank Wrathall took a popular maiden win, and Honda crossed the line in formation to celebrate their success. And in Race 3, Lea Wood and Jason Plato had an awesome battle for somewhere like 9th.

But Brands Hatch GP last year, for me at least, will be remembered for the awesome side-by-side into Paddock Hill Bend moment in FR BARC, with Matthew Brabham and Seb Morris, both potentially big names in the future, battling over the lead.

He tweeted yesterday "No decision on Brands after at hospital again today, Thursday for more x-rays & scans & final decision. Bones in too many pieces..."

Also HARD have announced Tom Barley in an Insignia for Brands. Is that driver #10?

Well we'll see how Barley gets on. Tony Gilham really needs to sort the wheat from the chaff and get a settled lineup. Or harvest some more funding from somewhere. I'm sure Barley is a decent driver in the VW field, but can he be better than the others in that car or will he be ploughing a lone furrow at the back? Maybe he'll be the pick of the crop?

Weather. What do we think? It may be pointless now but right now I have rain showing. I have also heard it will be sunny but cool. What do others say/think/know?

He broke his hand again a few days before Silverstone. This time it looks like he's done it good and proper, requiring surgery to fix it. He drove with a cast & splint at Silverstone.

I can't see how he will NOT race, it only takes one DNF from Jordan in race 1 or 2 and Neal has high chances to be champion, they will fill him with pain kilers all weekend if they have to
