Lee Purnell should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Castle Combe

Did anyone go to Combe on Saturday, not the best day, a bit boring really. But did anyone see the crash at the start of the Special GT race?
John Barnard managed to roll his mallock in a multi car pile up, I hope he is ok! Oh yes, and Micheal Vergers in the 1500cc radical, fastest ever GT around Combe, faster than the TVR speed 12!!!!!

I thought it was quite a good days racing, if a little soggy, and Vergers was stunning

I didn't see much of the crash itself (standing under the Avon bridge), however I did get a ride in the LandRover breakdown to assist in the clearing up (picking up a Radical front, Daren front & Mallock rear bodyworks).

John Robinson was being helped from his car as we got there (very shook up but okay), his car had stood up the the roll very well, the roll cage had a failed weld on the diagonal but was otherwise good.

The Daren/Mazda of Dave Green had the nose section trashed, but the tub was okay. He was knocked into a spin, and was the innocent launch ramp for the Mallock.

Jeremy Irwin was the other casualty with a front upright and a rear tie rod broken.
