Champion:
Tander - (all ingredients in place to go back to back). In the Hunt: Whincup, Lowndes, Winterbottom, Skaife, R.Kelly - (all have the equipment and ability). Dark Horses: T.Kelly, Murphy, McConville, Holdsworth, Courtney, Bright - (all have the ability, if their teams get the cars right and are consistant there is no reason why all these guys can't join the above group or win it). |

OK, I'll commit myself.
Champion: Whincup Dark Horse: Courtney Looks about ready for a changing of the guard with the youngsters starting to take over from the established names in the next year or so. |

yes, okay i like the bloke especially in his Kmart days would like to see him get back to those days of winning and being happy, not sooky like he is now.
but i really think McConky will go great this year if BJR give him the car he will be out to put the last6 2 years to bed, i don't think he will be joining us on the warm-up lap of Bathurst this year . |

well Frosty isn't the trouble FPR is, they tend to give the drivers a car that isn't really on the pace at the start then to go with that have some shocker pit calls (all this from a top team) and then start to hist their straps a couple of rounds before the enduro's or sometimes even at the enduro's then from then on not many can get near them, if FPR put the car under Frosty from the start and make some good pit calls Frosty will be hard to beat.

1 - Lowndes ... to fight back from the Whincup challenge
2 - Whincup 3 - Skaife ... new incentive from having #1 Teammate ... predict life in the old dog yet 4 - Tander 5 - Winterbottom In short, top teams to the fore and forget the rest. |

It is really hard to go past Tander, the package of him and HRT will be on the pace from the start and strong all year.

SSbaby I am the guy that fancies Steve Johnson for the title and am definately not on any weed .
Please do yourself a favour and review Steve's credentials . With the off season wind tunnel work the new engine improvements and Steves continual journey to excellence it is easy to rate him as a worthy contender for the championship. He would have won Bathurst last year if Lowndes had not forced him of the track on turn 1 when Steve had taken the lead and only had a few laps to go . I will never forgive Lowndes for this dastardly act on one of the sports great heroes. |
