Actually the Orrcon stickers "fell" off some time ago when the team sponsorship changed - all the WPS mobiles were re-liveried.

Nice find GTR - surprised that there are still any of them lurking around still stickered up.

Earlier in the year I was parking next to 2 or 3 WPS PT Cruiser's at 101 Collins in Melbourne. Still had Orrcon and Wow stickers on them too.

The 'Cosworth' branding above the windscreen is interesting, so is the 'Visa' sticker. (Must have missed a few, or perhaps left them in lieu of alleged debts to both from Mr Gore...)

The pic was taken in a Sydney carpark on Monday, just up from WPS HQ, where there were 3 of the beautiful examples of automotive design from Chrysler similarly stickered. These things would have to be 6 years old by now..

They were designed to look like the Supercar, hence the same Cosworth
and Visa decals etc. Looking at the Nascar style number, I think they were
done in 2007, but like everything WPS related I have burned it from my memory.

Can only hope they all break down or Gore gets run over by one..or 3!!!

Article was posted December 4th 2010, not sure if that is the original posting date of the article anywhere, or when such info as discussed in the document actually was alleged to have taken place.

it mentions that he still owns a V8 team, something he hasn't done now since early 2008

No it doesn't. The top part of the page is the current press release (4/12/2010). Everything after "Read the rest below" is a reposting of a previous blog giving the history supporting the press release.

The Falcon isnt ex-Lowndes specifically, it is the ex-Noske AU of 2003, updated to BA body specs, and once driven by Mr Crompton. Significantly, it is the very first V8Supercar to go to China and run on the circuit over there with Mr Yoong at the wheel.

I presume these were pulled out of the shed at Norwell?

The champcar if it is just a roller and is missing the mechanicals and electronics, that's about the going price for a roller right now.

Lola built 81 Champcars, if i recall correctly, after 2000. I believe Newman Haas bought the last one in 2006.

Reynard also built quite a few as well.

To get one of these running, you are looking at around $100K+. Which I don't think is bad compared to Ferrari or Lambo poseurmobiles, at least you have a "real man's" car with that.

Rumour has it that one former Premier of Qld, PB wants K Rudds seat, just imaging it, his mate Craig(I've got the Premier Ears) Gore could be his campaign manager.
